black and white

i love wearing black and white, but have always had a hard time trying to stay true to working with only shades of black and white in art journaling.  a few years ago Somerset Memories had a black and white challenge and i decided to try my hand at staying true to using the two colors.  my favorite pages, which were published, are now framed and hanging in my house.  these are some of the other pages in the black and white journal.

try challenging yourself to use a limited color palette in your art journal.  it is amazing how you will stretch your style in different directions and improve your over-all product.
