Who is my Brother?

who is my brother, who is my neighbor?
As an artist and writer I have recurring themes that visit me time and time again.  Some of the art themes that I continually visit are built around the visual images of: hearts, hands, flowers, faces and more recently cities.
The haunting message of each of the cities is always the same, "Who is my brother, who is my neighbor?"
We all need to figure out if we are going to live an isolated life, or if we are going to open our to those around.
Living in an increasingly busy age makes solitude something that we all need.  We just need to be careful that solitude doesn't become our way of life.
Ask yourself the question, "Who is my brother, who is my neighbor?"
