hands - compose, play beautiful pieces of music, draw and paint inspirational art, heal, love, protect, grow, comfort, hold, embrace, wipe away tears - and the list goes on.  
i notice in recent pictures that have been taken of me that not only am i adding new wrinkles to my face and neck but also my hands.  they show a lifetime of living, loving and hard work.  i hope they also represent a time when i was able to offer support, comfort and joy.
