is your life complicated?

life can get complicated - a little messy - difficult. none of us have been promised an uncomplicated life, so how do we deal with the ups and downs that accompany our journey?

the last few days, i have been reading "man's search for meaning" by viktor e. frankl.  he states, "find meaning in life even when confronted with a hopeless situation, when facing a fate that cannot be changed."  

"spring has sprung"

too often we are waiting for just the right moment in time to step out of our comfort zone and employ our suffering to help another in their time of need.  the pain that we suffer should serve as a lesson to change us and then be used to enrich another.  

psalm 138 states it best - 

"in the day when i cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.

though i walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;

Your right hand will save me.

the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy o Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands."

a time of suffering has the potential to change us and enable us to help others in need.  

no matter how dark the night - there is always a light.  share the light.
