i realized wednesday night as i was teaching a large group of teens and adults that for me teacher/artist mode are two different zones - - and i would need to separate the two. yesterday i worked with six amazing college students and my granddaughter. they helped implement the work seen so far. today i hope to finish the art work.
the theme of the room is intersect - we intersect with God at the cross.
the meaning and significance of the cross and of Jesus as the One mediator between God and man is the theme of my life. in the light of some of my personal journey it has become an encompassing goal to share the importance of the cross through artistic endeavor, (music writing and art). as you look at world events and the destruction of churches, crosses and Christians, you realize that the hatred that is coming in the form of persecution is ungodly and is growing in intensity.
may we, as Christ believers hold steady in prayer and daily remember what Christ did for us through His death and sacrifice.
